When patients come to me for help with their hormones, the first thing we always do is address their stressors. Is there something causing resistance on this individual’s system that may be causing hormone dysregulation.

Since metabolic syndrome is a set of risk factors and not a disease, it’s possible to entirely reverse a metabolic syndrome diagnosis. Typically, this needs to be done through a radical shift in lifestyle and diet.

Uncontrolled stress experienced over a long period of time is considered “chronic stress,” dangerous and increases someone’s risk for heart disease, diabetes, weight gain or obesity, mental disorders, autoimmune diseases, digestive disorders, and even cancer.
The facts are the stress we face today isn’t going anywhere, which is exactly why it’s more important than ever to find natural ways to relieve stress that work well for us. Thankfully there are natural stress relievers that can help.

Brain fog is the feeling that you cannot think as clearly as you used too. It can affect memory, decision making, concentration and the speed at which you are able to process information.
Brain fog is a symptom of lots of things, including cognitive decline which is a normal part of ageing. Cognitive decline usually occurs because as we get older the neurons in our brain decrease in speed meaning than brain functions are slowed.
Sometimes brain fog is brought on by illnesses or injury. For example, Long COVID or a traumatic brain injury. This is usually referred to as cognitive impairment.
While brain fog in itself is not a mental health issue. It is very closely related to mental health as it can be both a symptom of common mental health conditions such as depression or stress, and a cause for others such as anxiety.

Autoimmune diseases happen when the body’s immune system attacks its own cells. This can cause health problems across different organs. Patients often deal with pain, fatigue, and inflammation. Dr. Hailey takes the time to listen and understand everything that is going on with your body, not just where you are feeling the immediate discomfort. She explains everything clearly and takes a personal interest in your improvement. Dr. Halie is a game changer. She truly listens to all that’s going on to find the best course of treatment and really pays attention to all pieces involved. I felt like she really could sense what my body needed as she treated me and didn’t push too much, being sensitive to what she saw and felt. It’s so peaceful in her office and the one on one care is unlike any where else I’ve ever been. Never have I had care like I have with Dr. Halie! Could not recommend her more!

We do NOT accept insurance because we do not want insurance telling us what we can and cannot do for our community. In general, insurance companies are not focused on any preventative or wellness services. They were designed for quick, short-term symptom and disease care and treatment which is heavily invested in the conventional model of health care that too often relies on drugs and surgery. 

We want to provide our patients with the absolute best care possible. We will gladly provide you with the necessary documentation to get reimbursed if you’re willing to file yourself. We accept HSA and FSA forms of payment and always welcome open and honest conversations about finances. We are here to serve you and will do all that we can to help.
